Back in the Z scene
Nice Z! And looks like it's been well kept too! There's so many of them sitting around in my neighborhood, ranging from good to bad condition, I want to pick one up and restore it myself.
I've been gone for a while. Here are some updated pics. She's been stripped, sanded and repainted so far. All the old badges and side door chrome trims removed and filled. Front and rear side turn signals removed and filled. She's getting all new weather strips installed and front carbon fiber BRE airdam ready to be installed soon.

One delay after another, she's finally out of the shop.
Front and rear side turn signals removed for smoother look. Front and rear bumper shocks removed. Rear hatch emblems removed.
I still have couple of more exterior work but she's pretty much done with exterior. Power antenna needs to be installed and rechrome 240z bumpers.
I'm not pleased with the amount of the drop on the car. It has a big gap. I should of gone with 16". Current setup is 1" drop with 205/50/15". I'm planning to switch the tires to Yokohoma 205/55/15" thanks to Discount tires 30 day return policy.
Next is to find a good reputable upholstery shop for interior restoration.
Here's are some updated pics. I only had my ultra wide angle lens for this shoot so the pics may look bit distorted.

Makes me want to restore my 280ZX. Keep posting the pics as the project progresses.
