Lgear080's Deconstruction of an Icon - Nismo V2.2 Battle One Off
I got into a small fender bender (with a puddle) which really toasted
my authentic Nismo V2 front end. I have always liked putting my personal
spin on body work, and this repair was no exception. We deconstructed
the elements of the front end, glassed it, and did a full repaint. The
results are very interesting. I never liked the busy entry of the nose,
so all of that was eliminated.
I look forward to other people taking my lead here - so feel free.
Always interested in both positive and negative feedback too.
I've sourced more mesh from 1ill350z which should be installed in short order.
This is a great compliment to my forthcoming r35bbk install.
Enjoy!

i should be clear that it was my concept, and my bodyshop's execution.
the work was performed in Fort Lauderdale, and is excellent - especially
considering how badly damaged it was.

Not bad. It kind of looks like a shaved Amuse front end for some reason?
Is it just me or does it also kind of look like a catfish without the whiskers? haha.

I will def follow your lead here pretty soon...my V2 has suffered some heavy but small cracking on the passenger side wheel well part, but hasnt yet spread to where the bumper starts to curve in.
Im assuming in time, it will though.
Great idea, i never liked the budy grille section, either. My 1 dislike about the v2.
