Another Magazine Bites the Dust - Auto Salon Magazine 2002-2010

As many of you guys have seen my event photography coverage from various car meets, shows, and races that I post on these forums and on my personal blog - the-perfect-exposure.blogspot.com Sometime early last year I became an photographer/correspondent for AutoSalon Magazine, one of the leading magazines in Australia, starting with issue 76.

Unfortunately, the magazine has succumbed to the same economic forces that have plagued both the magazine and automotive industries. So, after a 8 year run, the final issue to be printed will be issue 85, which will be released in March 2010.
This is really unfortunate for anyone that works in the magazine world and for myself as well since I look forward to see open up my mailbox every month with much anticipation to get my issues with my work in it. However, with this setback, I am not completely out of business.

Recently, I have joined the crew at JTuned.com and still be able to have access to many great events and continue to post them up online.

Jtuned.com has been under construction for quite a bit of time due to some major staff changes and I hope that once everything is set in gear we will be able to be back in full force. Anyways, thank you guys for your support!

We certainly appreciate your photos and coverage! It's a rather unfortunate trend, but paper based media is on its way out.

That being said, I still subscribe to magazines I support because it's more fun than just "reading" online. I wish you luck on your future endeavors.
