#4. how much does it cost to paint over CF, anyways?

 

It will probably run me around $500 for the 2 tone paint job like option #4. Its really not that much of a hassel to paint over CF. Already done it to 3 other pieces on my car.

 

ah cool, glad to hear it. I thought there may be a lot of extra prep work involved with painting cf properly. that is the hood I want and I never thought about painting like that until you made this thread. hadn't seen it before, love the way it looks painted with the vents either painted black or left in CF.

 

any update? cant wait to see it done

 

Oh shes done , just got her back today actually. I got the vents painted black, hood white, got my new head lights in, clear side markers, and the jdm tails(red part tinted black). A friend of mines GF does photography so Im gonna get a shoot done by her some time very soon.

 

right on, lookin forward to seeing the results! the fiance' ordered me the hood today for my 25th bday.. should get it in a week or so prob be a little longer before I paint mine.. waiting on my aero kit to be here to get it all painted in one swoop

I see that i was late!

At first I said paint it all white, but I like it how it is now.

I think you should get rid of the eyelids and get some spacers!
