Looks like you can get pretty beefy in the back.
On the show wheels I have 285 might have to go to a 275. On my track wheels I want to stuff a big 325 or so.

Great job! Can't wait to see the final product.

Im in the same boat as you. My Z is paid and I'm bored of it. Gonna start playing with the motor in all kinds of ways. I really like the Cosworth Plenum and the Rare JDM cover. It's the perfect combo. Have you ever had a Strut Bar since then? I'm curious to see that combo.

Again, Great work. Hopefully I'll see you in the streets in SoFlo. By the looks of it maybe Kendall? I'm in downtown but I grew up in Kendall. Always visiting my parents.

Wow! Sick!
How did you cut out that perfect the hood??
Did you have to repaint it?
Thanks!
Alex.

Alex, I used a body air saw, some drill dits to start the holes and steady hand. Really there would be no reason to repaint. A touch up brush on the raw edge would be more than enough.

Ordered a Matt Hotch Designs gas cap... it set me back quite a bit but a tiny little feature like this is well worth it.

FYI if you do not know who Matt Hotch is one of the sickest bike builders...

Example
Here is it before install

Ater being welded in

Did you come from the minitrucking scene or something? Reminds me of when I used to build hydraulic lowriders and minitrucks right in my driveway.

Nice work, were you simply testing fit on the kit, or do you plan to paint with pieces already installed?

Good job. Should look real nice once it's finished. Can't wait to see it in person. I love DIY jobs. Good choice on keeping the G and changing it up. It will feel like a new car again.
