Default New wheels, update thread.

UPDATE::
I got a real digicam so here's a few better pics rather than the shitty cellphone pics. Since these were taken I painted the wheel centercaps black, and I've ordered a front lip which will be here in a week.

... it needs dropped, I know. Problem is that Ohio roads suck.

ORIGINAL POST::
I posted a picture thread a few months ago and took some constructive criticism and decided to make some changes to my Z. I managed to find a set of wider ADR 18's with a much better offset and also decided to get rid of the grill as many of you suggested.

See: Original Thread

Car as I bought it with 225 tire all around, and horrible offset.

Car as of 3 months ago w/ 245 tire all around and 25mm wheel spacers front and back:

CURRENT picture.. new rims with MUCH better offset, Front grill removed. F: 245/40/18 R: 275/40/18 w/ 20mm wheel spacer.

closeup of new ADR rims with Pirelli tire:

They look and drive much better than the old set and they're in near perfect condition, definitely an improvement for $550.

better... now if remove eye lids and side lids or what ever these are, it will look better.

And why did you just get proper rims wiht proper offsets, why use spacers and put unnecessary stress on the suspension?

what? the only possible undue stress spacers can put on the suspension could be on the lug bolts. which are not part of the suspension.

great improvement. those first wheel... there isn't a word grotesque enough to describe the horrific offsets on those wheels. Grill removal is great idea. Eye lids... well youve got a good ratio so far.

Nice improvement.
Leave the eyelids on if you like them. Decide what fits your style and stick with it.

no stress on suspension with spacers...also has nothing to do with buying proper offsets as well.

Anyways moving forward, get some better pix of your car, the poor picture quality is making the car look even worse~ no grill made it better...

Bump for better pics.

Painted centercaps black, and took tribal_visionz's advice and ordered a lip.

Get rid of the eye lids and drop the car a bit and you're on the way to a very nice and clean Z. Huge improvement so far, keep plugging along!

Here's a pic of the lip I ordered.

I went and bought paint/clear yesterday, can't wait for the lip to get here so I can put some paint on it.

This is not a "next" step. Should have been done @ the same time.

This is only my opinion, but I am getting tired of black wheels. For some reason the 350z does not take well to lots of thin spoke type wheels like mesh either. Once the spoke count gets over 6 it is too much in my opinion. The perfect wheel to me for the 350Z is similar in design of TE37's, and not in black. I wish I still had a pic of my 97 ser wheels, were I had to spray them black because finding black wheels was hard. This is getting dated now to me.
