Did you remove the interior pieces and wrap around the back? Or what was the technique that was used. I'm about to buy some for the Z.

I removed all pieces and wrapped around the edges, yes.

looks like the M3 interior... pretty clean! one of the best interior trims i've seen.

Does anyone know how this would hold up on the exterior of the car? Like in the area of the center chin section of the stock front bumper or on some veilside underwings for example?

some people have used this on their roof so it looks like its a carbon fiber roof, so i would guess pretty good.
