Kal-El is selling his diffuser. It has some scratches but you can paint it matte black to match the rest of your set up. Good deal!

Thanks, it's condensation from the night before (I have to park outside), I'm guessing because of the humidity down here. It's on the outside of the my car, you can actually kinda see some on the back of my car in the pic from the rear.

I think you're right, and it seems to be the general consensus around here. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I just spoke with John and he said that he doesn't like giving out the sequences of steps he uses because he could potentially lose business around town, but he did tell me that he removed the bolts holding the 2 pieces of the wheels together, sanded down all the parts that were to be painted, primered them, and then put them back together, torquing each bolt with 30-35 ft/lbs. He also used blue locite on each bolt so that if need be, the wheels could be taken apart again.
I haven't had any vibration issues, but the wheels were balanced off the car, and then put on the car and balanced again.
John said that most body shops, if they are competent, should be able to paint 2 piece wheels. Hope this helps.

looks good man.
i actually have the same v2 front and veilside sides in the shop getting painted matte black right now to match my wheels. i should have them back later this coming week.
i also have the replica chargespeed rear bumper there too and the diffuser area is getting painted matte black. I'm also getting the emblems and handles painted the same black and my headlights housings will be matched black soon.
im glad i got to see a kind of preview before i got the pieces back. thanks

Thanks Keith and AustinA02, I definitely want to see your car when you get it back from the shop AustinA02. I think painting my headlights and grill is going to be my next mod. I hadn't really thought about painting the emblems and handles, but I bet it's gonna look clean with them all being matte black. Please post some pics when you get it back!
