Tire shine isn't spread evenly and road paint is a ***** to get off. For the tire shine just use an old sponge after you spray it.

after driving a few days it evens itself out nicely. no need to go over it unless you are just ****

For what it's worth, I'm being extra particular in my constructive criticism because of how critical the OP can be of others cars (while having an almost bone stock Z). It doesn't feel great when your on the receiving end!

going over it with a sponge will prevent tire shine from getting on your paint. dont be lazy and do it right.
