and point proven! That omgnismostune370zsoooofcukingfast 370z is a great example, of the dealership marking up prices because of some Nismo mods.
What I'm trying to say is, I don't think the VIN shows if it's an R-Tune or an S-Tune... Because the R/S-Tune package is just mods done from the dealership isn't it?? Go down to the dealership, and ask them to print out whatever the dude looked up with your VIN number... Because he could just be reading you the window sticker that's on a R-Tune 350z via phone, instead of reading to you what the VIN says... because last time I checked VIN #'s don't tell you what kind of mods you have. As you said, they traced the background on the car, not the VIN...

I think the previous owner just slapped on some Nismo parts, sold it to the stealership, and the dealership being, oh so educated with their own cars saw all the nismo parts and assumed it was an R-Tune or S-tune... Which they don't know because hell they didn't even get the year right, as you mentioned the S-tune was only 2005+, and the R-Tune is 2004 right? And your car is an 04, yet they claim it's an S-Tune?? It could be an 2004.5 (built after June of 2004). Oh and the mods don't come from Nismo, it's from the dealership... lol they sell all your mods at the parts/service desk.


btw no way in hell does OP's car have 320whp. And if you're going to go on about the stickers thing... The previous owner could've bought the stickers, put them on the car and drove around for a while, but decided he didn't want them anymore, or took them off before he sold/traded the car, because he didn't buy the real deal Nismo vinyls, but just bought some eBay knock-off's... aka the orange ones, lulz
