If you have 18s with the tires, I am VERY interested. I can swap you my stock 17s with tires + cash (my car now has 123 miles on it) or I can just pay you for the tires.
dont get the 18 touring's, get the 18" track ray's. You can get a very good deal in them through this board and they are WAY LIGHTER as compared to the 18 tourings.

I made the switch last year and they are MUCH BETTER.

btw - stay away from the stock tires if you can. If you still have some cash get the S-03's or some toyo's. Much better rubber to keep your *** stuck to the ground!

that is exactly what I am looking to get.
After much discussion I decided with ppk enth.
I too like u will switch out to different rimz, but it's probably gonna be HRE since I know a friend who can get me those at really nice price. If anybody else wants it, just PM me.

however, with the PPK, i would go with red aftermarket leather like the M3s and some point some BBK. I can't wait.

btw. i am impressed. U look nice and u got a good taste in a car. Can't beat the combo..

I like the stocky, big look of the touring 18s over the thin, lightweight Rays. They are lighter, but dont look as good in my opinion as the regular 18s. It must mbe that inset lip.

welcome aboard Grill.

I have to say that I love young women driving the new Zs - it really cements its image as a sports car. Sorta how girls in corvettes are.

INteresting...

I used to livein NJ lastyear...happy winter!!

Wink

Don't forget to get yourself a clear bra and an aftermarket car alarm pronto. Otherwise you're looking at a zillion paint chips on your front bumper and someone prying off your door handle. Someone else already mentioned the Zaino.

I know these and I don't even have my Z yet!

Welcome to the brotherhood (& sisterhood of course ) of Z owning and my350z.com

Two pieces of advice -

Be patient until 1200 miles, then the fun will really begin with your new baby. Trust me, depending on how much you drive her, it won't be too long til redline time!

Next, this site becomes insanely addictive. I'm not joking, this site has taken over most of my life, you'll find yourself coming on just the general forum, then the regional forum. Then it trickles down to the modification sections, then the off topic forum, then it's too late

Haha, enjoy the Z though, it only gets more enjoyable and faster with time (assuming break-in period, then mods later)

Congrats and welcome aboard Talia. If you're looking to get 18's you might want to check out after-market rims. There are some VERY nice rims and if you look through the galleries on this board you can see what's out there.

And yeah, I was able to spot the car in your picture. It just took a sec.

Why is that freaking you out? I'm assuming Woodbury Nissan is a dealership in the Northern NJ area.

I would guess that he's just asking out of curiosity's sake.

Probably nothing more to it than that.

Here's my worry:

All I ever said was I lived in south jersey. There are tons of nissan dealerships in the lower 50% of the state so I am curious why this person said that.

No big deal.

Anyway- thanks for all kind words wfrom everybody else. I know I bought the right car and it's cool to know there are a bunch of great owners, too. Glad it's not a snobby bunch at all. After all, with a car this great, it's hard to be humble... but we all are!

I bet you he WORKS at that dealership and DEFINITELY remembers a hot girlie who picked up a PPW just recently so he did that to mess with you.

the fact that you are "concerned" shows him/me/everybody that you did indeed get it there and are trying to figure out how the hell this guy knows that!

just remember, this is a BIG group of fellow Z owners and wannabees so SOMEBODY might know you in some way or another. (and many more obviously would like to get to know you better as well )

BTW - not to be rude but re-think the rim purchase. if you do not like the track rays then go aftermarket, you will regret spending $$ on those rocks eventually - jmho

Car looks great, welcome to the brotherhood sister! Keep us posted on the progress. Are you driving this as your winter car? If not, you might consider moving up to 19's Good Luck!
