^^ So hot. I used to hate this body style when it came out; now it's my favorite STi ever.

First I hate the hellaflush/stretch tire shit on any car.
But I can't grasp why anyone goes out and buys a STI or Evo and does it. These are the manufacture's pinnacle sports car base on one of the toughest forms of racing, WRC. Add to the fact the engine love mods they can be road and off-road going beast! I hope these fad ends soon because it stupid and it for the lazy that don't want to learn to drive a sports car properly. /end morning rant.

I need a coffee....

^^^ Lol Robert I agree that AWD cars are truly home off-road

Don't forget about Citroen (even though we can't get them here in the States)

I come from a background of Class 1/5/16/Baja 1000, but to each their own. Honestly there are many more travesties of "builds" out there much worse than the stfu STi... MANY more lol

man, I love hatches. it's the perfect all around fun + utility car. I love the hawkeyes a lot, too, though, when it came time to buying one I really struggled on picking between the two - 06-07 hawkeye, or the 08 that I picked up. I went back and fourth for weeks!

here's another hatch I saw at a car show that I absolutely love - I am doing some similar things in the future, I found it inspirational. everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but how can you not like them?!

I loveddd the stang. it was part addition to car swapping, and part depression that I couldn't really utilize it very often. my commute is like 5% city 95% highway, I fire my car up, get on the freeway half a mile down the road, get off of the freeway, and my work's just a few blocks off of the exit. the 5.0 takes a solid 10 minutes to warm up, so I can't really goof off on the on ramps to or from work.. and half of the year it's raining here, so I cant really drive it terribly hard regardless. during the winter, I snowboard, yet I can't take my own car up the mountain / have to depend on others for a ride up.

ultimately it just didn't make sense for a daily driver. it would make a great 2ndary / fun / fairweather car, though!

I really liked my '04 STi, and I often fantasize about buying a white 2011-2012 STi hatchback. All the performance plus good utility. Although those hawkeye models, when lowered appropriately with a nice set of wheels and tires, are the winner in my book as far as aesthetics go.

^^^ Love the Grey on that Hawkeye, any info on the paint code? Definitely doesn't look like the OEM Steel Grey Metallic on my former '06 WRX.

I used to want a subie, sort of, before I got my Z. My wife hates the way they look. She thinks they look like matchbox toys. I'm starting to agree with her.

kinda has a battleship grey look to it.. love it, too!

yeah, they do look somewhat toy like, and they sound kind of juvenile.. it's all a part of the fun / appeal.

Sold them last week along with the Takata harnesses. Wasn't really planning on it, but ran into a guy I knew and mentioned it. He bought everything.
