On a performance turbo car, octane has a much more noticeable effect, especially when it's 24 psi. On an NA z, unless it's tuned for it, nothing will be felt.
oh lol. excuse my jdm ignorance. btw do the jdm intentionally misspell words and create their own words from it? in hs for the longest time i thought greddy was greedy. its a jdm thing?
The point of this is not my Z. See that Caddy in the background? That was mine. When I moved to where I am now, new neighbor was quite fond of it so I sold it to him. It was, along with the other two Caddies I owned, my dad's... and handed down.
Note that there are touches of my Can'tLeaveItAlone sickness... self leveling shock delete in favor of performance coil suspension, STS wheels with more meat, STS sway bar setup. For a boat, it wasn't a bad handler. 5 foot swells only felt like 2.5'.

Cleaning out one of the garages to make room for uhhh, well, stuff.....
And no, that piece of c*ap semi-trailer is not a normal fixture in my 'hood...nor is it full of Z parts!! (Dammit.) Just neighbors moving out. Been there four days now and it's only one quarter filled. Oy.....
And after that thread going on about muffs, thought I might as well take a pic of the thing....
Picked up another Z to replace my totaled car. I know the original owner was a member here. Got it for a great price, I'm happy with the purchase...gonna sell off a few things and make it my own.
