i think he went a little too far on some of the appearance mods........like the front spoiler with the rods.....when he already has a front spoiler....bumper with a front lip...
the third brake light in the rear middle......
the rear diffuser when the hole cuts in rear bumper are already enough.......
the tri color military green red and black is all over the place......lacks consistent flow...

Let me just say something here.... Brian's car may not to be to your taste but let me make a non-judgmental comment (though it may come off as such, c'est la vie). I do not know the man, we are not beer drinking buddies, nothing. But I know his craftsmanship - as shown through the extensive threads he posts - and it is high quality; plus, he doesn't take shortcuts.
I kinda went off on a mini-rant in another thread about judging and the most poignant point I took from the responses was that "if one posts their car on a forum then ASKS for opinions, it's not going to be a good day for him/her."
I don't think I've EVER seen Brian ASK for anyone's opinion. It's HIS interpretation of the Z and the love and dedication he's put into the beast is clear.
His car isn't my cup of tea either but I see NOTHING "wrong" with it and if there's a Z on here that I would call "extreme" or "radical", his is it. And his work and all of the input he's shared on this forum should be an inspiration to the membership.... NOT a magnet for criticism.
But you are entitled to your opinion... but keep in mind the keyword there: "your". Put your car up in an informative thread, don't ask for any opinions. Just be ready for "theirs".
And that's without his asking "So what do you think if I....?"

It seems everyone forgets that this hobby is about making YOURSELF happy. If someone doesnt like the way i build my car, they can pay for my mods. If love to build a car to their spec, in their time, and i drive it.
Until someone forks over the dough, ill built my car how i want, afterall, it IS my momey im spending. People who builds their car for others approval are gonna have a bad time. You cant please everyone.
Yeah just started a thread on my build, I don't like doing threads but I'm happy with this one. I'm on E85 only, my compression is 9.5:1, and turbos are Forced Performance HTA3076Rs .82 A/R

On a dynojet with the stock 10.6:1 I was around 503 at 10psi and 613 @ 13psi
Also noticed your torque is super lower (as very good thing), that'll allow you to push it more. I was around 546wtq at 613whp. You're a good 100whp higher with only 10 more lbs of torque!

bmccann101 - very nice, man. that is a really creatively designed car, haven't seen one like it. very tastefully done, it's wild but looks right.
looking through this thread makes me miss my Z a bit. they are so timeless. lots of nice cars all around. my vette is fun but the shorter wheel base made the z pretty fun to fling around!
the good 350z/VQ years, when people cared more for performance, FI thread was alive, people were pushing for builds/engines, build engines, and pushed their cars on the road....now its all n/a stance or just fi garage.
1. Yes! unfortunately I'm not that fluent so that's the main reason why I got second LOL
2. They judge by points. Sally is not completely done yet; still have tons of engine work interior bits to work on.
My bud has his Z supercharged, but I got something for him next year haha jk
