I find it amusing that I'll go months without ever giving it any thought and often I'll neglect it in favor of something else going on in my life and in my garage.
But then, a moment will come along when I'm not even conscious of it, like walking out of the grocery store and for some odd reason, it was right there and seemed like it was just patiently waiting for me - like a loved pet - never once casting judgement for my neglect.

And all I could do was smile.
Oh, and take a picture. Laff.....
Put it in storage for 6 months, then we can relate
Can't quite put my finger on it but there's something oddly "settling" about this pic... "End of a long day at the autocross..."? or "The first, 554 mile drive home after
picking it up from..."? or something. Like.
Don't tell me "It broke down at the Piggly Wiggly so I'm towing it home.", please. That'd totally f'up the vibe I got. Laff....
Lmao.... no that wasnt the case. I was on the way back home from the dragstrip and saw a perfect picture opportunity. First time on spray so I took the trailer and family.

Giving some coverage to the other cars that usually don't get "published"...
Friend who saw my wife last weekend said, "Tell Michael to do something about your headlights!! I'm sure he knows what to do!!"
Uhh, yeah, guess so, hunh?
Guess you can figure out which was the "Before" and the "After".
OK, no? Here...
Before:
After (but before sealing and washing the turds and paint drip off the rest of car):
My German daily driver spent a beautiful Super Bowl Sunday in the company of others like it; away from all them Japanese cars at my house. It mumbled under its breath, "Well, OK, I guess you're not as big of a J-car snob as I thought you were." "Uhh, excuse me? Yeah I am.... you're still outnumbered 4:1." Laff... But don't get me wrong, this Teutonic hot rod has joined the ranks of the "never gonna sell it" faction at my house. This thing just does everything well and it's bone stock! Thing runs circles around and away from the Zs.
Today, difficult lighting to shoot in.
Oh, OK, let's keep this on topic and relevant, how 'bout it!?
This is the "freshly painted side". Also in horrific mixed light my phone refuses to color balance! New headlights finally installed. And hey, can you believe it?! I've had these wheels on for 6 whole months!! Hmmm, may be time to do an exchange with one of my other sets!
