I dont think the lighting compliments the car at all...so much yellow tones destroys the beauty of black.

Definitely take some pics around 5pm away from anything yellow...

Looks good man. Did you get the engine bay and door jambs painted as well?

What are you thinking as far as other exterior mods?

Loved your old setup, in time I'll probably love your new set up just as much.

Looks good, Love the stance with the nice size tires yet still tucking.
Only thing I'm not feeling is the headlights. Never been fan of blacked out headlights.
Get some better pix!

or full wald? i know you've got style, but i just want to see something
completely original at this point. (which you're fully capable of doing).

also yashio factory/vertex lang works and hasn't been abused.
We'll see, i will be going with another paint job again soon. But at this point i have no real interest of trying to be original. Kinda had that with the whole brickyard/stretched TE's back then. But i do see where your coming from and it has crossed my mind couple times

I agree, only reason i took it then was bcs i didnt finish my wheel setup till late night. Didnt want to wait next morning bcs i had to work (Air Show). The angles arent the best either, nice angle shots make a huge difference with the bodylines of the Z imo

Thanks bro. Engine bay is already black from the factory, and i had the door jams painted as well Exterior mods i plan on little things along the way (yellow calipers with new brembo stickers, slotted/drilled rotors, Slight windshield tint, new wheels maybe. Just little things nothing major for now.

didnt move, car isnt registered at the moment. Still waiting i guess lol. Should get it done this week hopefully. VQ30 was bcs of the original car it came from (friends' turboed 96 maxima)

Yep, it's a lot harder to run such an aggressive fitment with somewhat meaty tires. So much crap you have to deal with. Right now im rubbing not with my fenders, but on my rear bumper. Might go down 5mm (19x10.5 -8 to -3 with the 285/30) so i can beat the crap out the car (which was my original intention). And blacked out headlights was one of the selling point for going black. Love them. However it does look dull at times at different times of the day, it doesnt look as black as i'd want bcs of the reflection. Looks grayish At night it looks amazing (but i cant capture it on photo).

Things i want to get out the way are lightweight clutch/flywheel and tune. I also want to focus on my suspension setup. I want to replace as much stock suspension parts with aftermarket (just for the hell of it). And maybe another paint job towards the end of this year maybe sooner

Not sure why you changed the wheels out to a wheel the looks almost identical in style. I would have liked to see something more unique but whatever, lol. I liked the brickyard color better. Black is just so normal. I shouldn't be talking since my car is silver but I didn't pay to get it repainted either.

appreciate the honesty lol

but is it the color or the way my brickyard was put together that you liked? If you look at the brickyard thread on here not one car stands out (except 2, one being mine). Brickyard color isn't that unique (mazda6, scion tc, interlago fire Z, etc). I see more and more similarly colored cars coming out (theres 3-4 brickyards/IF Z's in my base alone not counting mine btw).

as for how it sits now, i havent really started yet. Once i start going to work, change some things up, and have it where i visioned it to be it should be pretty sweet. But atm im focused more in getting a DD.
