Getting closer to having Dr.Bonz back on the road! The combination of our Forged Performance S1 VQ35DE Shortblock and the Greddy Twin Turbo kit with the upgraded 20G option is guaranteed to put a smile on his face

1800 degree heat wrap was used to protect vital components of the engine.

Brass T's, zip ties and Fire Sleeves were used for added protection and security as well.

Member since 03? Looks like it took him as long as it's gonna take me to get some FI/built motor action in the Z, lol.

The good doctor has had a Procharger on his car since sometime in 2004.

I believe he is an orthopedic surgeon in Pittsburgh. He usually hangs out over on vqfrenzy.com. I haven't seen him on here in years.

Wow. I guess I better make an appearance here to let all the new guys know who I am and let all the old school guys know I'm still alive!

I preordered this car back in Feb. 2002 before it even existed. I got it in Sept. 02. Of course I got it in the ever rarer Brickyard color that was only made in the inagural year of the 350Z on the 03 model.

I was one of the original members here almost 10 years ago.

I was one of the first 350Z's to go FI (in August 03) with an ATI Procharger setup and was making about 350-375 RWHP with my inital 7 psi pulley and then went with a 9 psi pulley for about 400 RWHP. But as they say on Sports Center.........THAT'S NOT GONNA BE ENOUGH!

I am finally converting over from my blower to the Forged Performance engine build and Greddy TT setup.

I am indeed an orthopedic surgeon and I live about 70 miles north of Pittsburgh in Western PA.

As my avatar states, I am a Jedi Zaino Master and have trained dozens of young Zaino apprentices in the ways of Zaino.... I have over 120 layers on the car now but I'm not nearly the Zainoing god I used to be.

I am shooting for over 500 WHP with this build and I can't wait to get the car back from Forged. It's been a long time......

Before I go, a quick shout out to Chebosto! Long time no see my friend! Good to see another of the old school original guys here! Still have your beautiful DB Z I see?

Also, I am selling the last remaining parts that I didn't sell over at myvqfrenzy.

My Crawford Jet Hot Coated Headers and my Kinetix SSV intake are up for sale. Take a look at: https://my350z.com/forum/exhaust/525...ml#post9184037

Waiting for my Cosworth intake to come back from Mike. He is Powder Coating in and when it's on they should be able to start the engine up and see what we are gonna get. Can't Wait!

Interesting tattoo.

Good luck with the build Dr. Bonz. Seeing older members like yourself still around is what makes me want to continue holding onto my car.

Thanks. I plan on being that old guy with the pristine TT 2003 350Z talking to the young whippersnappers with the 2016 400Z's and the 2022 500Z's at Zdayz.
