I hate to ask a total noob question but I'm going to do it anyway:

I see lots of pictures from car meets where a car's turbo inlet is exposed, i.e. the air intake tube has been removed. These guys just remove the plumbing for the photoshoot, and don't actually drive around without air filters, right?

well he doesnt drive this car anywhere but on a track so he runs no filter, or maybe a mesh screen over it, not too sure. and no idea about other folks that do it lol
