LOL Dan! If he decides to pick up my set up... all the bugs have been worked out so it'll be a worry free install, Jas knows the kit really well so I'm sure he'll be up and running in no time.
Hey man, I showed your car to a couple buddies of mine before IA. They told me they saw you down there. They said the car is even better looking in person. One of the best looking cars that was down there!
Very nice job man!

so i decided to take a roadtrip this past weekend in the Z and drove down to North Carolina for the annual Import Alliance summer meet at Zmax dragway in Charlotte. It was my first time there, first time driving that far (10 hrs) and first big roadtrip ever. I had a lot of fun, it was worth the drive. the meet drew like over 6000 cars and lasted two days. there was no trophies or judging but the whole atmosphere made it feel like a show with all the vendors and models. so I tagged along with my friends from the Eat Sleep Race crew and they let me park my car next to their booth. i met Taywan from the forum and a couple other Z owners not on the forum. all in all i made a lot of new friends both Z guys and non Z guys. I would definitely make the trip down again next year.
here's a few pics taken by my buddy from Eat Sleep Race/Speed Lounge blog photographer Brian Chin. check out his site for more pics of the event http://www.thespeedlounge.com/sl/

My favorite part is that you are willing to take this beauty out into the wild on a 10 hour road trip, on roads with unknown contours, with very little clearance between the pavement and some very expensive parts. Not to mention the abuse that your bumper+hood+front fenders take. Sheesh. Hats of to ya man.
It was def a good meet-car was hot!! I keep saying "show" to everybody but was almost like it. Well worth that drive Id say. Glad you/Z made it!! Def good to see the vehicles driven like you did. I really dislike it when people buy a ride and park it all day long. Def a big hit there!!
MADE TO BE DRIVEN !!!
MADE TO BE DRIVEN !!!
Awesome pics... I have to laugh though. If my car had been there... NO ONE would want to stand that close to the back of it. They'd smell like pure gasoline for the rest of their life.

sry110/taywan - yup i've always wanted to build my car the way that it is now and drive it all over the place and explore the country. i had an awesome time cruising and i was glad that i didn't encounter any mechanical issues. my car is definitely made to be driven, although not in severe rain or snow but i'm not afraid to take it long distances now. i'm ready to fully enjoy my car take it everywhere wherever possible and meet other Z drivers.
