^^^
agreed
One of my Z guys love BMW...I just don't get it! No styling cues that makes me want it...
Power/Performance not gonna argue there...shiet moves...just takes alot to get to the "sportscar" look that most think of i.e. two door/two seats...
I know OP is gonna come through with the style no doubt!

) I never thought of the M3 as having a typical sports car look, it's more of a GT luxury sports coupe. Very business like. If you park it next to a porsche 911 it wont look sporty at all lol. But thats what appealed to me. Its that classic bimmer look that you have to appreciate to truelly understand. Thats why most bmw fans hate how the newer e90/92+ cars look, its lost the traditional bmw styling. And trust me, im just getting started with the car. Im just happy with how it looks now thats all

Looks good, but not my style. I prefer the look of the white m3 i posted.

Toby check this link out, I had been looking for an article on this car I saw on a forum a while ago and they just did a feature on it. Get the best of both worlds and swap in a s85

I'd love to have BBS, Rotiform, or even CCW for a set of show wheels

Thanks, i love the oem look. Even after i get a set of aftermarket wheels, im keeping the stockers
I forgot, i had too many different specs on them. Just search Toby-22 and look for my other build thread.
Reason i went with this car was to be more conservative. I achieved the flashy look with my Z and then some. I dont want that, if i did i would have kept it. And you have to remember my car is practically stock, imagine a practically stock 350z and tell me how they look. But in time i might go with aftermarket wheels like you said. And i will go lower in the next month or two.
I can see what you mean, superblack350z feels the same way (even tho he thinks the ugly M5 looks great, i guess the price of the car had something to do with it

Yes it does, it's my favorite m3 so far. Its the most complete m3 i've seen without being overly done. And the stance is flawless.

My 03 350z with wheel spacers and 1.5" drop

My 03 M3 with wheel spacers and 1.2" drop

of course the picture quality advantage goes to the m3, but you see what i mean

its the same body style though. its technically an 07 Z. but if you were to compare it to the new m3, like you said in a previous post, the newer m3 doesn't look good as the e46 and doesn't have the classic bmw look.

Some updates
recent purchases that i havent installed
-Orion V2 Angel eyes
-AUX connector
-90degree defoulers
And what i just installed this morning
BC Coilovers
-I went with BC coilovers bcs of the ability to lower the car by shortening the shocks itself not just with the springs. Megan, D2, and BC are the only 3 i know (im sure theres 1 or 2 more i cant recall) that does this. I want to be able to slam my car without losing comfort in the street. And since I have no intentions of tracking the car nor will i pretend to want to, i went with these.

YES, that is with a 30mm spacer up front, look how sunk they are

I was going to drop the rears some more to match the fronts, but instead forced to raise the fronts after these pictures. Fronts rubbed, rears rubbed even with cut fenders. I was running 225/35/19 and 275/30/19 for the oem wheels. The fronts had way too much camber also, look gross and tucked. Rears looked perfect with the 20mm spacers but it rubbed, so i swapped the 15mm back in
As of now my front camber is still excessive, i need to figure out how to work the camber plate.
btw the ride is kinda crappy right now, lots of creaking out back like something is loose. Could be the top four nuts inside the trunk, may have left those somewhat loose. Will get back to them next week, its cold out here! lol, will work on height/alignment/etc to my liking in the next week or so.

Just a few more tweaks and it'll be done
