to each their own, i personally think the lip makes the stock front bumper look complete. also the bumper tuck with the exhaust i have is way better than the huge ugly stock black exhaust, and once i get the center of the front repainted black, ill be able to take off the grill.

A ridiculously large number of times better. I would grab some clear reflectors, or leds reflectors and it would really help clean up the front end. I'm assuming your reflectors now are just sprayed amber ones, just not my favorite.

keep up the improvements though, I like your car much more with the new front setup!

I also think a set of veilside add ons in white and nismo rear add ons also in white would compliment your front lip.

I think it would look better without the cheap lip, and some smaller wheels.

I think I'm going to get some side skirts (ings 1) that will flow with the front lip a lot better right now actually. I dont like the stock bumper on the Z's but yeah I might end up just buying a new one but its so spendy to get stuff painted PPW color

Car looks much nicer without the grill, over sized rims make the brakes look tiny and less functional. Ebay lip looks cheap and too common. No offense Empiredude, I say no to the LED reflectors. They were considered oryza sativa back in 2005 and died out with the blinking side Z badges.

yeah im going to keep the grill off now that I got to re-paint the black part of my bumper. I also ordered up some side skirts so that should "lower" the look of my car a bit more and flow better with my front end lip. Thats what im hoping for anyways :O I really should stop buying stuff for a while though haha, I think I have a problem. Seems like I buy something weekly for the car.

Definitely looks better with the OEM front grille as opposed to the aftermarket billet one.

Curious to see how it looks once you get your sideskirts updated. I agree that the sides must be more aggressive to pull off the front.

Eh... lower the car, change the wheels, get a front bumper or full kit & call it a day.

I will no worries guys, the lip was a cheap easy upgrade to do (besides the paint cost) but I plan on getting a real front bumper eventually. I seriously buy something weekly for it so I just need to figure out what to do first haha.. either way ill post a pic when I get the side skirts on. I wont be changing the wheels untill next summer if I can find some vs-xx in burning black I havent even had this car that long so im really just posting progression pics. I appreciate all the input whether its good or bad, like I said before everyone has different tastes and likes. You live and you learn.. I bought this Z to have fun playing around with it, looks and performance. I do pretty much everything myself to it, besides the painting of course

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that little gap on my front lip, the double sided tape didnt really hold it down.

edit: you can see the little gap on the left side of the bumper (looking at the front end pic) where it curves.

lol if I wasnt going to replace it I definitely would have done that in the first place. But I plan on getting a whole bumper eventually. I saw a lot of posts about people rocking the ebay lip and it looked good and they said fitment is good.. but mine is a little off :O

Thats because people who "rock" eBay parts have low standards about good fitment.
