I'm sure on a huge dip or weight transfer it does rub....other than that it shouldn't. If it does rub it should just be hitting the outside of the fender well, and not the strut/coil. Which is a non issue really...OP can verify this by simply removing a rear wheel and looking at the fender well for a rub/burn mark.

I'm running -1.5 front and -1.7 rear. Rear fenders are rolled and pulled from when I had my 19" TE's and 305/30 rears.

I considered doing that and might try it right before I dismount the tires whenever they wear down. That way, if I'm not happy with it, I don't have to worry about keeping them.
