Appreciating the compliments. I can get some new pictures once my brakes are installed...if they ever arrive in the mail

Not exactly new pictures, but some photoshopped pics of the look i may be steering towards soon (courtesy of Jermy over in the Photoshop forum for answering my request)

I wouldn't be painting these current wheels, id be keeping these and buying a second set in gloss black. These are just to see how the black wheels would look. Id definitely appreciate some feedback on this potential look.

Balling..why buy a second set of same wheels just for a color change? I'd say keep the current set..and use the money else where. Car looks so nice and clean how it is right now. As soon as the akebono's arrive it'll set everything off perfect.

I should have clarified, the second set will be a different wheel altogether in gloss black. I'm most interested in TE37's, RE30's, and maybe the new 19" Work Emotions so it would most likely be one of those options if I do decide to go that route. I'm gonna see how I like the current setup with the new brakes and go from there.

Don't do it. Had gloss white wheels on my '04 STi last year and they are always, always dirty. I even had relatively low-dust brake pads. Looks amazing when clean, but not worth the effort on a car driven more than one day per week.

I didn't even think of that, but really good point. The sti probably looked fresh as hell with those white wheels though.

I think it's PERFECT how it sits now. Tastefully modded and perfect amount of low imo.

Thanks fellas!

The kics lug nuts I ordered in early April are back ordered until mid June . Icalled everywhere and I swear there's not a single new set of red leggdura nuts in the whole country.

On a brighter note my brakes have been powedercoated and are now just getting the logos silk screened on so hopefully I'll be getting those soon.

Yup I stuck with the red. I think they'll go good with the dark blue as well as the red lug nuts I'm waiting for and the small red ring on the Volk center caps. In my head it'll all tie in nicely. The anticipation is making me antsy though lol
