My third Z. Just 1 pic.
I don't think you are getting the point Drummer Girl. We are not debating what or why people put stuff on their car. We are just pointing out the fact that posing, ie faking the funk is lame, which is in theory a poor reflection upon mods in general and in some ways, the 350z community. It's along the same principle of people hating on fake coach/gucci bags. Yes, everyone has the right to do what they want to their car (different strokes for different folks) but that doesn't mean it's void of being subjected to criticism. Besides, I think it's actually a good thing the community lashes out (sometimes a little harsh) because without checks and balances the Z community could be over run with cars that have stick on fender vents, autozone wings, interfoolers, etc. It's all about perspective.
and every time someone gets called on it...they scream hater. And then the same group of people that do the same kind of mods come out of the wood works and justify the actions.
I travel all over the country and see a lot of modded cars that the general public may like because they dont know better and then there are ones that the general public screams WTF and laughs. The latter are the ones that seem to be in this "mod class" and group of forum members that are enablers of this crap.

[QUOTE=DrummerGirl;10334165]Haters gonna hate, it is what it is. Just post pics of your car. Not everyone's gonna like it but hey it's your car at the end of the day, all that matters is that you like what you're doing with

Car looks amazing replica or not. I got a carbon silver as well (I think yours looks carbon silver from the pics), and I want to do a Nismo conversion someday too
May I ask where did you buy the authentic pieces?
I know they sell authentic parts from CourtesyNissan but I'd like to know if there are cheaper places.

lol @ the comments. You know when you put it into perspective you guys are grown men complaining about a sticker. That sounds kinda silly if you ask me. xD
Your car looks nice. You should post some more pics. I like the silver and white combo, it's starting to grow on me.

thank you! The spoiler I bought from someone on craigslist. he ended up upgrading to an apr wing and i got lucky. paid around a thousand. The rear bumper I bought from a forum member on here local in houston. still wearing stock sideskirts till i find someone with nismo v3 ones. also need to find a nismo s tune exhaust as well.
I loved your UY build, I wish you would have got some legit wheels but I'm sure you had your reasons
Glad to see you back in the platform regardless, a lot of the OG's have moved on
Lol @ comments in this fread.. but I do agree on the stickers thing. Either way, the Z looks good and will look even better with proper side skirts. And welcome back, btw. Always good to see old names pop up here.
^ Long time! How've you been? I actually came in this thread after I saw that you posted. OP being another OG is a bonus, lol.
Yes sir, been quite good, always lurking the site...I get a lot of cool flashbacks when I see OGs posting... have reread a few old threads to laugh at old drama, or old epic lulz

Also reported the eBay add for faking the front with a link to this thread. Some poor buyer will get duped with knock off crap.

Honestly for me I don't care if people go around with volk stickers on their car, or replica brides. That's totally cool. But when you go out advertising that as authentic stuff that's BS. -_- You're misleading people and that makes you look like a tard.
Saw this car the other night on Houston CL. It clearly states: TE37 Volk Racing wheels and authentic nismo front bumper, rear bumper, and rear spoiler

Enthusiast like us can separate the real from fake but the average Joe's can't. I hope buyers do their research before paying a price tag like this because it's hard to trust anyone nowadays.
