Default CF Wrapped Nissan Emblems

Yesterday I decided I wanted to reduce the high contrast of the chrome emblems on a black car. At the same time, I wanted to allow the "350Z" emblem to pop a little more on the rear. I didn't want to plasti-dip because I'm not a fan of how dull it looks. I didn't want to paint them because I wanted to be able to go back to chrome if I wanted to. So that left me with the idea to wrap them in the same 3M CF I used for my interior and hid shrouds.

Here is the result. I am very pleased because it toned down the contrast, but still made the emblems an attractive piece of the car. Plus it goes along with my current theme

Several years ago, I went for a slightly different carbon fiber look with the emblems. Here are a couple pics.

Nice, those look good too. I've seen the CF inserts you can buy on eBay that fit right into the Nissan burger like that.

Yea, I'm glad these blend with the black but still have a sheen to them. The satin black ones must look sick too.
