I really appreciate hearing that, thanks John!
not gonna lie, I love the look of it, and seeing the heat escape through the vents is a nice bonus.
Thanks man!
Yeah I agreed with you. I kinda put myself in a pickle with the tire stickers. I really liked how they looked with my last SSR's, and I wanted to remove them once I got the Works, but they would have left a good amount of residue on the tires (even after cleaning). I thought about flipping the tires, but ran out of time to try to get the letters off before Import Alliance.
I'm thinking new tires will be needed by the end of the summer, and I already have some purple lug nuts chillin' on my desk

New pics for a new page
Side story: I never received a badge when I bought my Varis front lip. I actually still have the box, and have gone back and rummaged through it, but no luck.
So about a month ago I emailed rhdjapan.com (who I purchased the lip from), they said if Varis has it listed on their website with a part number, that they could order it for me. I spent a solid afternoon going through their site, and couldn't find the part number. Now they do still sell the lip, and lips for a bunch of other cars, with the badge on them in the pictures, but no individual badges. So that's a dead end.
Next I emailed Varis directly, explaining who I purchased the lip through, that I still have my email confirmation, and that I can take pictures as proof that it's authentic, and that all I want is this stupid badge. Two weeks pass, no response, send another email, wait a week, same thing...no response.
So just last week I call up Bulletproofautomotive...
The rep tells me, "oh yeah, we can probably help you, we're the north american suppliers of Varis, let me just check with my manage to see if we have them and I'll call you back."
Me: "Awesome! I still have the confirmation email to prove that's it authentic, can send pics, blah blah blah".
He never calls me back, no big deal. I wait a couple days and call him back. He checks again with his manager and tells me that because I bought the lip through the "grey market" (I had no idea it was an actual thing), that he can't sell me one, and that the only way I could get one, was by buying another lip through them, which I'm guessing would be at least $700. Yeah, I'll pass. He wouldn't even give me a name of someone I could contact at Varis. Thanks bulletproof, kindly go suck a bag of dicks
So now I've found another company that makes and sells custom metal tags (the last one I had made was too thick), and I've also found a local laser etching company. Hopefully I can find/make a design that I like and finally call it quits on the exterior of my car.
End random side story.

Man it really feels like it was just yesterday! I think we ended up parking next to each other the two years after that too. I still love that feeling of rolling into Fontana and seeing nothing but Z's everywhere. Hundreds, if not hundreds of thousands of them...my math might be off a tad on that, but it's still pretty damn cool
