Picked up the car tonight. Got THE CALL on Friday 9/20 but was in Orlando at a conference. Couldn't get it until tonight.
THERE ARE NO WORDS!!!
It is 2 am. Car has 138 miles on it. All sub-4k RPM miles!
The Doctor is now TIRED, but he is now IN a Brickyard Track 350Z.
The Doctor is now pleased. Very, very pleased.
All is now right with the world. Goodnight Sweet Z, goodnight.

Congratulations Doc. Finally, your dream comes true. How much do you like the color? I am wild about my Brickyard and so is everyone in town. Its also the only Z in town that is on the road. My dealer has one, but it is on the showroom floor. Everyone I have talked to says the color is so nice it is startling. Well the 2nd wave should be coming soon, but I have had my moment in the sun. Enjoy yours for as long as you can!

What can I say that hasn't been said by many others. The car is simply AWESOME. All the things that were griped about (antenna, Nav door, "cheap" interior, bath tub feeling inside, poor view etc.) NONE of them are true from my standoint. The view is nearly identical to what I am used to in my Stealth. The interior looks REALLY good. Not the least bit cheap. Antenna actually looks cool. The Nav door really isn't hard to close at all, and even if it was, how often do you need to mess with it? The seats and the high belt line...NO PROBLEM! Feels just like a SPORTS car should.
I was just itching to punch that damn gas pedal all the way home but didn't. My friend that drove my Stealth home kept goading me on to race on the Turnpike but I remained faithful to the break in. Listened to my Z Crusin' Music CD I burned all the way home and sound system is fine. No problems.
It was so funny knowing all about the car and actually telling the salesman about it as we went over it. I knew more about the car than anyone there but hell, that's what a 7 month wait will do! The looks I got from people coming home (on the road, at a store we stopped at, the toll booth etc.) are so funny. The toll booth girl just stared for like 10 seconds and then asked "What IS that?" When I told her she just said "COOL".
The color is beautiful. I have always loved it in pictures and even more in person. Mine is the first Z in my home county. Actually in the surrounding 3 or 4 counties. I didn't switch the licence plate over becuse I'm going to try and get "DR BONZ-Z" for the Z and keep the other one for the Stealth if I can.
Well, gotta go to work. DAAAAAAMMMMMNNN! Wish I could drive all day. Thanks for the well wishes everyone! ZZZZZZya later.
