I had the absolute worst time, sorry to have slipped off early but I realized that if your girlfriend is not into meets or carshows it should be against the law to bring them. I did the courtesy "you want to go with me" question, not really thinking she would go. But we both learned a lesson from this as I'll never ask her to go and she'll never agree to go. Anyway hope everyone had fun. Ya'll have some sick cars BTW. David.

 

i bet it was the HIN thing... right david?

i wasn't too fond of the HIN thing either once i got there... i'd been better off just spending some time at a grill&bar or sports bar of some sort...

IMO... HIN was too loud, too crouded, surrounded by people that have no sense of direction or are aware of their surroundings...

and to those of you who know me... i hate having people behind me... not to mention security was seriously B.S.
i mean... if you're going to have it... then do it correctly... i've never seen such half-a$$ed security in my life...

that and i hate standing in lines... i feel like cattle...

I don't know about you guys, but I thought it was pretty good. I wasn't at the meet part much so I can't say. Looked like a great turnout. The drive to HIN was cool. HIN parking cost too much, but I was a "Performer" (model), so the entrance was free. I saw a pretty good amount of hot slu...er.. models. The parking garage pictures were cool (took a bit longer than I thought). Overall, I don't think it was that bad and taking into account that I was on an hour of sleep and on 3 different energy drinks.

Shirts are definitely in the future, I've been putting that off for far too long now.

I'm glad most everyone showed up for the meet. I meet a lot of new people. It was a pretty fun night.

Davidf, yeah...I could tell you were in a tough situation bringing the woman and all...don't let it happen again...haha.

I asked Dave about the pics and he was editing them last night. I'm not sure if he finished yet because he had some last minute packing to do. The thing that sucks is that he's out of the country until NEXT monday(going to japan) on business and I don't think I'll be able to get a hold of him before he leaves(7 am today)

Here are the few that he was able to squeeze out...he had a couple hundred to look through, so hopefully, he'll have alot of them done by the time he gets back

 

It was real nice meeting up with you guys in Grapevine. Of course, we only showed up at the last second, but there were some real nice cars there. Looks like you had a good time after HIN as well. That was our first HIN, and honestly, it will probably be our last. We were just not impressed. Don't get me wrong, there were some really nice cars. But overall, it was just an unorganized mess. Hopefully we can make it on time to your next meet.

I am with you on HIN, i was not impressed considering the parking and entry fee......our meets are more impressive and as always hanging out with everybody was a lot of fun, i hope to see everyone again at the next meet.
