Lot of guys showed up without a Z. Lets see, we had 1 S2000, 1 Prelude, 1 M45. SOme guys didn't even dyno. There were also a bunch of mustangs around the shop. If you brought your Tahoe it wouldn't be too far off of some people's number (cough....3thee5ive0ero...) ...hmmm....LOL..just messin with you bro.

My point is i wouldve had nothing in common, i knew very little about z's at that point and it wouldve been rather boring, ill be at the next meet whether its in a z or not, just to make you happy. :-)

we already did remember?

and PLEASE correct me if i'm wrong but in terms of who crossed the line first... i won a few times... mostly due to a mis-shift or i got a really good launch... but none-the-less i won...

but now that i got some decent tires that are now BALANCED... and some good brakes... sure... lets go!

maybe we'll have a little more participation among the other Z drivers...

Your ET and trap is what's important not who crossed the line first. If a Viper let me go first and left after I finished the 1/4 mile, does that mean I'm faster? Crossing the line first (among other things) is more important in ET Summit, but on Test & Tune days, it's more about your ET and trap. So, 13.8 @ >100 vs 14.x @ <100 and 2.0 vs 2.2 for 60'.

This reminds me, I'll start a new thread as soon as the track's open and we can all go. As of now, we have 7 people wanting to go. (I've been recruiting )

edit - Now that we've decided on the 13th for our next meet. Where do you guys want to meet up? And time?

Actually, I recommend some place more central. As much as I would like to drive less distance, I also want more people to show up. So whatever's more central to everybody (unless we have something like 7 plano guys and 1 f/w guy). Also, I suggest meeting earlier. Most people seem to like hanging out with other Z guys just talking and whatnot.

Thanks, and yeah he stuck around and I had witnesses also so all will end well. New Concepts will take good care of my Z and as far as the head spinning & spewing I'll leave that to the little girls in the movies, I was to busy jacking a round into the chamber....lol

Mine was an all stock dyno at the time..basically unless you count that noise maker of a pop charger. The HKS was put on only last week. LegionnaireZ, was your Z the one that put out that 245 hp stock?

Hell bring the Tahoe, those are cool trucks..specially if you got some 4x4 articulation action going If anything, I was able to see other Zs and get a close up look at what some of the aftermarket stuff looked like.

Yeah i know man... your times were good that day too but not to your likeing obviously... i think you were looking for 13.7 right? i thought it was funny that you missed a gear and still got a 14.0...

in terms of my times... i already explained what i think...
my main thing is... i may not have a REALLY fast car... but my ability is good... reaction, shifting, clutch, launch, that stuff... that's why i prefer road course as opposed to drag...

On topic:
So uh... where are we meeting and at what time?
Are we going on a cruise this time?
What did the dealership say, if anybody asked?

Off topic:
Anthony - Yeah, I wanted 13.7 but that 13.7 came the next time I went.
Travis - It looks like the track will open either on 2nd or 3rd week of Feb. I'll post something around then.
