also I dont go because there is nothing to do, everyone shows up and just stands around. There some really nice Zs, no doubt but thats hardly worth the effort to go see.
To me whats the point for new people to show up, there should be a plan and some actual organization rather then just a free for all. Otherwise it'll continue to just be a same handful of friends
i think we had 3 new people show up, and as far as i know they quite enjoyed themselves. its freaking hooters, most people have a good time there! but i thought our waitress was a lil fugly....

The meet was was alot of fun. It is nice to put faces to screen names. Then you really know what the person looks like who said that stupid comment. Can't wait for the next one. George you gotta hit me up when the car gets out of SGP. Crispy where did you get those door things i've done a preatty good job keeping door dings out of my car, but i am that **** about my car so I would like to get some of those.

well i dont go to those reject car meets because all they do is stand around and people dont try to talk to you and i just sit there for 15 mins and leave.. like tea works a local car meet.. everyone just stands in their own section.. its retarded. but this Z meet was awsome everyone was open. I had a good time overall. i think if we just continue and take some pics and post them more people would be interested. Idk bout u but i think george's car is worth the trip by itself...

im for the BBQ let me know wat i can do to help

i was trying to catch up to you, and that stupid accord cut in front of me with his shiznit floored and i had to slow down and wait for him to gain some speed <----me looking at him thinking "my God he's so slow" haha then i passed him up like nothing, didnt even have to floor it.

i ended up seeing that same Mazda 3 the next day on my way to work, he was still driving like a ricer outta hell lol he wanted to race but i wasnt havin that so he just sped off into the distance cutting across 4 lanes of traffic back and forth...tsk tsk...

i took some pics on my cell phone, maybe i can get a few up in a lil bit. and this was a good Z meet, every one just chillin and makin fun of each other, robert being a horribly bad influence on my young mind, gio with his flickering hatch light, bad azz nismo, and just overall coolness.

my only regret that night was that i forgot to take pics of georges bad azz ride, i was plannin on showing all my friends the car that stole the show from the Z's...it was a thing of beauty.... and props to gio for not walking out the wrong door this time the lil thumbs up sign is just for you

Its their problem, not ours--is the wrong way to look at it.

As many Zs there are in houston the meets should be much larger then the normal 5-6 people that show up to all of them. Surely there some cool people that you would like to meet but never get a chance to, the remaining crowds of people no one like will naturally pull out. Leaveing behind a large amount of cool guys--are something to that effect

My only point is that these meets are poorly planned and executed

I don't agree with this statement. The point of the meet was a meet and greet and eat. That's what we did. You are more than welcome to plan the next one to your liking. I am sure the usual "handful" of friends will show up to your meet with an open mind to support the Z community. I am sorry if you think meeting up with people with the same car that share their car experiences is boring. I look forward to the next meet being planned by you.

P.S. We have said from the beginning that we don't mind it staying small. So, if the usual suspects are the only ones that show, well, we won't be disappointed.

P.S.S. My car was NOT in attendance this time.

I think people that share the same car and share their car experiences is a great thing but, standing around just to talk about it and eating is boring.

My idea of a meet is a day at a road course or autocross course, thats fun and a real reason to get together. I do question the amount of people that would even show up to such a thing or even have a remote bit of intrest.
A car like the Z is intended to be raced, not sitting still just to be looked at.

Any other car I've owned including my Audi S4 I still have, the meets have been rather successful and large. WE plan a day at a race course and usually grill some burger and have a good time, that to me is a reason worth getting together.

I am not trying to put down or discredit the current meets, am only saying I think they should be better planned and actually have a core reason to get together, rather then just seeing the same old-same old.

My bad....its just that in the La Porte meet a while back you and some others were taking pics but you had the tripod stance and everything - i assume you're a photographer.

Other car enthusiast groups such as: domestic, s2k and your case "audi" - are more united in houston for some reason. Houston Z&G riders aren't cause the Z and G Double D thread was posted in all Z&G forums weeks advance in the past but no one will attend

Keep up the group meetings ya'll....i'll make it out to one eventually.
