Did anyone take pictures?

 

The meet took place as scheduled, despite the bad weather we still had a turnout of 10 cars show up. There were a couple of new faces and it was good to meet you guys. After waiting for everyone to arrive we cruised over to Oasis Restaurant via FM 2222 and road 620. While having dinner we talked about future events and here are some ideas that were thrown about:

• Finishing work on our web page CENTEXVQ.COM <--brianV, Kream, and myself will be taking care of this.
• We will be having a BBQ as soon as the weather improves.
• We will also be having a poker night soon, perhaps next weekend.
• We will set up a garage day so that we can get together and work on our cars, maybe in conjunction with a BBQ.
• We established that the best way to keep communication while caravaning is to have 2-way radios. So a few of us headed to Frys and bought the Motorola t9500xlr. (this one seemed to be a favorite among the group). You can also buy them online just do a google search or try ebay.
• Unfortunately there is no track we can just drive up to and run on here in Austin unless you are willing to pay about $400...but we are on the lookout for any track like events that we may participate in.
• We talked about getting together during spring and each pitching in a few bucks to rent jet skis and have a lake day.
• The possibility of taking a cruise to Wine country on a wine tasting tour.

yes the parking garage is free and you don't need any special card to get in. Our March 8th meet will be held in the same place.
I will post more details on this meet later...props to Tim124 who was the only 350Z driver to make it out.

I really wanted to join up with you all, but I got involved blacking out my headlights due to the horrible weather. Definitely will come at and be a second Z at the next meet though!

 

I will be at the next meet for sure if the weather doesn't suck. Looked like all G35 cars. Are you guys a crew or just friends?
