They don't take reservations because it's not pavilion style. Everything is 1st come 1st serve. There are two main sections where people BBQ. 1st section is on the east side of the park, next to the church. The parking lot is good, but sometimes there are kids playing baseball n' catch around the area. Obviously not good for the cars.

The ideal section is by the volleyball sand traps on the southwest side of the park. The parking lot is within viewing distance and is huge. There is always tons of non-crowded parking there, along with spacious street side parking next to the sand traps. The sand traps are first come first serve also, but they have a large bleacher set-up there as well as a large field. You have to bring your own BBQ pit, which shouldn't be a problem. That's where I'd have it...

Sweet! Sounds good to me. Yes, the parking is great there. The cars are litteraly in bird's eye view. We will need to bring some type of picnic table and our own chairs if the bleacher is taken up.

You don't have to bring anything George. We will furnish you with everything.

I could load my pick-up with things and just haul all the stuff down there...

I am not saying that at all. How are we going to fit everything in a Z? I know Val said he would bring his truck, but then it wouldn't be a Z BBQ, it would be a daily BBQ. Now if you pick a place that HAS tables, chairs, shade and a pit, then all we would need to bring is food and drinks. Which, BTW, fit in a Z pretty easy. Just not understanding why you would pick a place like that when I am pretty sure there are other places out there that would be better suited for us.

On a side note: Fock the Galleria area!

Personally, I see this more as a BBQ of friends and not about the Z's. I see you guy's cars all the time. I see my car all the time. I'm all about hanging out with good friends, drinking some beer, bull$hitting, and playing some ball....

Oh yeah, +1 on fukc the northside. Too damn far....
