Moog,

There is a cool place out by Grapevine lake near the Damn side....its called Rockledge Park ...I think. ?

It is first come first serve. I might be able to get out there kinda early and secure a spot for us. But we might need two spots or extra tables & because there is only one picnic table and one grill at each site. Also the parking might be tight. But if we get a good site where there can be more parking then i think everyone will be able to park close.

We might need extra BBq's or habachi's to cook enough meats for everyone.

here are some tighter pics of the site. Parking is available on the sides of the road as well. I think we can get 20 or so cars around a few of those picnic sites. There is a playground for youngsters and restrooms. I would suggest that everyone bring there own chairs to sit.

Those sites are considered Day sites and I'm not too sure you can resreve them.

I'm pretty much down the street from river legacy if you need me to do some recon...

i'll look for a wide open spot with some BBQ pits around... It is wide open though with lots of room for parking... you'll never know who or what is going to be there but even if there's a pee-wee soccer game going on i still dont think we'll be in anyone's way... plenty of room near the field and even still more places to go other than that...

Definately bring some chairs for yourself though... nearly nowhere to sit adn chill otherwise...

Anyone have a tent type thing with no sides (can't ever remember the name) or care to use the walmart "This thing isn't what i was looking for..." renting program?
