I definitely agree, maybe someone from different parts of Houston (Northside, Galleria, South Houston, etc) can plan a convenient meeting spot in their part of town and eventually roll down south and meet up with the other groups on I-45. I know of the usual "car meet/cruise" spots in Galveston, Salsa's restaurant and Cherry Hill is a good spot to take pictures.

 

Ive never done one of these. I'm down. I'm from the southeast anyone else from the southeast?

What about the ballers from up North?
We need to come up with a plan where there are 2 meet up spots.
(North & South).
Peeps up North can meet up @ their location then caravan to the South and then roll out to G-town.

 

wrd. I think a good meeting spot on the southside would be the Hooters on Nasa Rd 1. and I45. Its easy to get to, and easy to get in and out. No lights, not steep for the lowered people, and plenty of parking.

I have no clue about up north though. DUDES WE GOT TO GET THIS TO WORK!!

288is nicer...45 is just not scenic at all,
unless you like concrete and billboards.
We went that way for the HPD cruise, really nice.

I agree, don't mind rolling a different route for a change. Also the traffic is (probably) at a minimal compare to 45.
Now we need meet up spots for both sides and a date.

Nice, you're steppin' up creating a date and time but to make it official create a new thread for this.

 

I vote I-45, I did the HPD cruise a couple years ago and while it was fun with 100+ cars, it would be a lengthy drive for 10-20 z's. I think the cruising in Gtown is what Im looking forward to. With that said, I DON MIND cruising 288 if everyone is down to do so.

I'm down, but the 14th is Father's Day weekend and there is also a car show going on that weekend at Sam Houston Race Park. It might be a difficult weekend to get some out due to family Father's Day plans. I'm still not sure what my family is putting together. If they don't do anything, I'm going to want to do the car show....
