Default D-FW Road Rally: You are invited!

The next RoadRally in the 2008 SCCA Championship RoadRally Series will be held Saturday, September 6th.

The DFW Map Rally, presented by Mapsco will begin at the Mapsco store in Dallas, and end at Carino's Italian Grill in Lewisville. The flyer can be seen at www.texasscca.org/dmr08flyer.pdf

You will be given a special map, prepared for us by Mapsco, and some rules. Using those rules, you will determine your own route, and write your own route instructions. Then you will drive that route. The driver/navigator pair that most closely follows the rules will win the event. There are classes for First-timers and Novices, if you haven't done this sort of thing before.

This was last year's most popular SCCA rally.

You can pre-register (and save $5) at http://www.dlbracing.com/clubs/texas...x?EventiD=3582

Any three cars can form a team, and compete for the Team Trophy. We had 41 cars and 6 teams enter our August rally.

Keep tuned for other rallies in our series.

Wow, this looks like a lot of fun. And there's no need to buy new tires/pads

I did it last year, was a blast. No need to speed or take short cuts, it is all about picking up on clues and taking your time. I was the only Z there last year, need a few more this year.
