Follow the Z North American Rally
Nice pics! The 370z is alright... I might be a little bias but I still prefer the 350. I think the front end is executed very well but the back just doesn't flow with the body: the taillights are too close to the center and that little black square thingie on the bottom just really throws the whole ergonomic design off. Interior has more of a luxury feel with all the bells and whistles and doesn't come off as a true "enthusiast" car. I would give the car a 7/10, it's still a great machine
I thought the event as a whole was pretty good. Nice turn out and a lot of great cars. It was a treat seeing the R34... although it seems to have not been tuned well; smoked like crazy and smelled like ****. Oh and that silver Z with the Gram Lights is insane and a bit impractical, I just don't see driving around like that all the time. Whatever floats his boat though, at least the wheels are sick
Overall it was fun.

Yes - I agree that the 370 is less of an enthusiasts car than the 350. Did you hear it when it drove off for the test drive? It was whisper quiet - more like an Altima!
The interesting thing about this meet was that I had never seen 5 new GTRs in one place together before!

Man... that was a really nice meet. Lots of rare rides... R32..R33..R34 Skylines, wish our meets could have a large turn out like this. The Dyno fun didn't start until the end of the show, like 6 pm.
Was able to get a "Baseline" on my totally stock '08 NISMO..... 261.1 wrhp!!! So if I have a 20% loss thru the drivetrain, then a stock VQ35HR in a '08 NISMO 350Z would be about 326hp. Chris, correct me if I'm wrong.
A few other car Dyno'd... G37(221rwhp), Intergra(approx 619fwhp), Skyline(596rwhp). JoTech ask the Nissan Folks if they could dyno the 370Z, but they decline. Maybe the 370Z doesn't put out the hp as advertised!

Mathematically, that is correct, assuming a direct 20% drivetrain loss. However, in real life, not everything is constant (i.e., drivetrain loss) and there are many variables and factors that could potentially (and most like will) change your end result. Plus, there are correctional factors on the dyno itself to compensate of the climate not to mention smoothing factors and blah blah.. So in short, dyno number don't mean anything.
