Motel 6 has an even better rate. They are a few blocks from the show site. If you book online, it's $55.68/night(tax/fees included). I called them up. It's a new branch that just opened, so all the facilities are new. They also have lowered-car friendly driveways, per the front desk guy.

Just called the hotel and they are willing to match that price direct too. So either way you are good to go. Also they do provide a security guard to watch the cars all night and free breakfast.

Dallas Caravan to TZN

Whoever wants to go with a caravan to San Antonio for the Texas Z Nationals in San Antonio, meet in the parking lot at Denney's, 868 NE Alsbury, Burleson, Texas. This is on the south west corner of the intersection when you exit IH35 south at the Alsbury exit. There are several fast food places along this part of Alsbury if you need food/beverage before we leave.

Let's meet around 1:30 pm on Friday afternoon and leave as soon as possible.

If you have a hand-held radio (two-way walkie-talkie type)
bring that along, too. We will take 281 out of Burleson
hoping to avoid the traffic on Ih35 that is always heavy but especially so on a Friday afternoon.

Our group will be going to the La Quinta Inn & Suites, 4431 Horizon Hill Blvd, San Antonio, TX 210-525-8090. This is the official hotel for the event. If you have hotel reservations somewhere other than the La Quinta, please make sure you know how to get there once in San Antonio.

We will have a water hose at the car show site the morning of the show. You just need to bring your own soap and towels.

But there is a new self wash that is closer on Huebner Rd just past Expo Blvd going towards Vance Jackson on the left side.
