Informal gathering in Cedar Park (Austin)
In case anyone wants to spend Saturday nights hanging out with other car enthusiasts . . .
I recently found that local car people were informally gathering in the parking lot of the now-dead Circuit City at 1431 and 183A in Cedar Park.
I've driven past a few times on my way to PetSmart.
There's a good turn-out of muscle, always a bunch of Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs.
I've seen a Porsche (70s vintage), a nice older Bug, a poor lonely dude standing by his Eclipse waiting for someone -- anyone -- to talk to him . . .
But I've only been by there as the group started assembling, like around 7:00. No idea what kind of crowd develops later on.
Thought some might be interested . . .

I wonder if its the same group that used to gather in the starbucks parking lot at 620 and 35. I drove by there a couple times but never had the time to stop. They use to have about 30 cars out there.
