DFW: Dallas Raceway Test & Tune in June
There's a new drag strip near DFW, so let's get some Zs out there (others welcome as well and encouraged). Please vote which date you can make it. Whichever choice gets the most vote will be the chosen date for this month.
I'm going to call 2 people out, since they both specifically said any day is fine and they'll come along:

1/4 mile drag strip
Run what you brung
Some rules:
Wear actual closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a shirt with sleeves.
For those who will run faster than 14 seconds, you need a helmet.

There are 3 test and tune days this week (Thurs: 6-12am; Fri: 5-12am; Sat: 5-12am). I'm going on Thursday. I assume nobody's coming as always, though.

Yes, please check with your co-worker so you can work Wednesday and get off Thursday. BTW, it doesn't matter if you get off in the morning. We race in the evening.

If you think you can run 13.99 or faster, then make sure you have a helmet. This new track doesn't have any for rent. I had to use some chick's bike helmet, that she graciously allowed me to use for the evening, last time.
Test and tune days cost $20 to race.
You need to wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves.
You need to wear closed toe shoes.
Come prepared with some drinks or with money so you can get rehydrated.
Everything else, I will tell you if you actually make it to the track.
Ok, since this is a bit of a short notice, how about we set up a date that we can all agree to go on?

I will ask anybody and everybody to come out to have fun and race. Those who show interest in coming usually is contacted by me as a reminder.

Check the first post, since I changed the content and vote on the poll.
And you should be running low 12s with 400whp, even on your first time out. I'm certain you'll need a helmet. Apparently, Wal-Mart sells some for about $80 or you can ask a friend with a motorcycle, I guess.
