EDIT: Ataru, didnt you say you were selling the Z to get a vette? Did you decide to keep and get Altima instead??

If so, i commend you on your decision. Vettes are nice and all, but imho not as special as the Z, esp a Nismo Z!

the Z06 is because is lighter than the nismo and has only 200hp more....

the only reason so far I haven't got the vette is that I'll need to spend between 30 to 40K to make it "track ready" with a new oiling system, racing coilovers, .R splitter, wing and diffuser, improved cooling system, and throw in some cams, a full exhaust and a cage. I forgot wheels and slick tires

than, <3000lbs 500/550whp toy should be interesting to drive around a track

but so far the economy and the risk of going toward higher taxes thanks to the new socialist direction keeps me to doing that.

sorry if I'm not "enthusiast" in the same way about brand and "exclusivity"... I'm concerned about lap times and fun factor

 

I was/is considering the Nismo 370 but for the same price (maybe less) I can get a fully loaded 2010 Camaro SSRS 2SS. I'm not worried about lap times if I was to buy a new car. I just can't justify spending $40k on the Nismo as a daily driver.

Ataru: I saw a Corvettes of Houston a Red C5 ZO6 w/ 27k miles asking $27k. Just a little heads up.

And I just read the Camaro runs off Regular gas. Premium is recommended for increased performance.

 

Yup I'll be there, but I swapped my OEM sides and front w/ CF lip and intake duct back on. Had some fitment issues on the CWEST front and CWEST sides I wasn't 100% happy with the paint, and the judge pointed out a flaw so back to the shop they went
