I'm really hoping I can get a spacer from Tony tomorrow and install it for Sunday. Not counting on it though.

Here are the pics of all the VQ vehicles that were on the dyno today. They're not great quality, but at least I got pictures for you. They're posted in reverse chronological order.

I had a great time at the dyno day. Be sure to thank Stephen/ImportedPerformance and Cobb for the great event. Also, special thanks to Rob/SexyRob and Jake/AcidJake75 for letting us use their laptop and Cipher cable to log our dyno runs.

Good day everyone, it was fun. It was very chilled back atmosphere and it was interesting to see what all the cars put down. Thanks to Stephen (ImportedPerformance) and Cobb for allowing us to attend the event, providing donuts (yum!), pizza, and discounted dyno runs!

One question. Didn't they say they will email us the graphs? I don't think they have my email.

yeah good times...

nice meeting everyone. does anyone know what the g37 coupe put down? I missed it...

thanks cobb and imported performance for putting on the meet. I was a little disappointed in the numbers I made but I'm not too worried about it, I am glad my ported/polished plenum assembly made power.

should make this a (6mo/12mo)/yr event, would be fun

Call COBB tomorrow, let them know that you are looking to get the e-mail. You will need to give them your last name, car info and e-mail and they will get it to you.

I'm not 100% sure but I know it was somewhere between 261-265 whp. Don't remember the torque. Don't sweat the numbers too much, it's a Mustang Dyno and everyone knows it reads low. I would be happy as hell if my own hand done plenum porting job netted 6-8hp, very nice man.

not necessarily, mustang dyno are all over the place, just depends on how its setup. ive seen some of the most inflated dynos off mustangs and then again ive seen some heartbreaker like numbers as well.

I need to order one after today though, anyway. I forgot about it until the day before the test on Saturday. I talked to Chris about it a few days ago, but forgot until last Friday when you were already in Texas.

That's how I feel about my nitrous numbers.

I can't believe the dyno operator left the VDC on when my car was spraying (HUGE WTF -- could've blown my engine!). My tires slipped on the dyno and the VDC kicked in, ruining my only good nitrous run (#2). I was also running real low on nitrous so that explains the low hp number and it was obvious on the 3rd run.

Yup, good stuff guys (and gals). Thanks for setting this up. I am a little bummed that I had issues with my new exhaust, but I am glad we did this so I knew.... I put down 259 with a partially clogged up exhaust. I hope to have it fixed in the next couple of days... can't wait for the next dyno day.
