^^ I used to go to flips for the DI meets...that was SO back in the day though. Their burgers are DAMN good...

Who were you? did I ever meet you? I showed up for a while until my shift changed. I always took one of the Subies. I had a white WRX and if it was back far enough, I might have had the blue WRX but I don't think I went that far back in 06....

I think back, the only times I went to meets were in like 04 w/ the Slowica, then 07 w/ the WRX. I don't remember any meets in the STi except once at the cupcake meet. People were calling me stupid b/c I had a bike rack on it. And I was like "dude, it's not your riced out slammed Subaru, I actually take mine off of straight paved roads...."

 

Don't know if i'm going to make it, my car is still in the shop.

 

+1 on the burgers and beer at Flips. Had some good times there, just wish it wasn't such a far drive home.

 

who would be interested in rollin down the street to the DI meet after this? the spring creek meet is just down the road. either way, see y'all wednesday.

I live in Denton as well as a couple other Z/G people and we usually go to the Plano meets together. So where is it going to be exactly, since you changed the plan (you might want to edit your first post).

 

I assume this to still be at BWW located in Plano at the SW corner of Central/75 and exit 32 (Spring Creek). After everybody gets a chance to eat and hang out, some people will head over down the block to the Plano meet or whatever, held at a parking lot at the NW corner of Central/75 and exit 32.

chris, as far as the plano meet goes, yes that's right. i'm not aware of another Bdubs off 75 in plano, so I'm going to assume that's the one as well. there's also rumor of the DI meet moving back to cici's but i'll keep checking on that.

the DI meet has been confirmed for park and coit, if you've been to DI meets in the past it's the Cici's

 

I think rolling out to the DI meet after the our meet will be a great thing. Tons of fun!
