EAGLES CANYON MEMBER DAY
Event Hours: 07:00:00 to 15:00:00
I think I might do it, got a used 911 4S that would be fun to track. I tracked my SMZ at the Mid West Z Fest this past week and had a blast. Only problem is I spun a bearing just 60 miles out of Ft. Worth coming home. The SMZ may not be ready by this event.

Hey Bob! I didn't know you posted here. This is "Lt. Dan". What's the latest on the SMZ?
I'd like to be at Eagles Canyon, but I am in need of new rotors and track pads. I don't think I'll have the cash, unless someone out there is in the lending business. I've been to Eagles Canyon twice this year and that place is hard on brakes.
I will atleast head out there to watch. I'll probably swing by the drift event at TMS too, since I work there and all. I looked into getting some passes for the my350z crew for the XDC drift event, but since it is a track rental and not one of our regular events I don't have any pull with the promoters.
All in all this is going to be a great weekend.

"2010 Texas Z Party"
Friday Sept 24th - Sunday Sept 26th
INFO:
We have blocked out 50 rooms at Quality Inn. If people register before Sept 23 with the hotel direct, and mention "2010 Texas Z Party" the rate will be $55/night!!!
They must call 817 467 3535 to get this rate!!
The Saturday Cruise is going to be the BEST. We will have a fast, middle and slow group. We will be leaving both from the Hotel and the Texas Motor Speedway. Starting time will be earlier between 4 and 4:30 Please eat lunch on your own that day since we will be eating late as a group.
The only money we will collect is for T-Shirt and those that want to enter the Car Show. Car show entry which includes T-Shirt is $25, just t-***** are $15! Every thing else is pay as you go. In other words no registration required except for the car show. Dyno's will be first come first served.
Eagle's Canyon ..... the track is open to members that day. I have worked out with some to allow those that are interested to be guest of members. It will cost $150 for the day and you must either have track experience or let an instructor ride with you. This track thing is not an event of the 2010 Texas Z Party but an opportunity for those that would rather do that then either dyno or go to The Texas Motor Speedway for the XDC Super Show. They will be on their own. The must call Eagles Canyon before the 25th if they want to track that day.

As one of the quasi founders of the Sunday Night Southlake Meet, I just want to throw it out there that we have achieved and maintained a very amicable relationship with Southlake PD to the point where they let us get a way with a bit more than we should. That being said, we do have just a few rules with the meet:
1. No excessive revving. A few quick punches is ok, but please use your discretion. You don't need to be bouncing off the rev limiter coming in.
2. Be smart about the music. I know some of you have put a lot of money into your sound systems, but please, no thumping base or screaming loud music.
3. No burnouts. Period. Amen. End of story.
4. Please pick up your trash. We've been pretty good about this as of late, and it makes life easier for me!
5. If you come to eat with us at Snuffers at 8:45ish, treat India with respect. She gives us our own section, and while I'm still iffy on the auto charge for the tip (we are still trying to work it out with Snuffer's), she does her best to make sure we are all happy.
Basically, I'd just like it if we did our best to keep the cops from getting called on us. The two main patrol officers from SPD know we are there, and neither of them have a problem with us (hell, we scare off the teenagers that all the businesses in Southlake have been complaining about).
That all being said, I'm not gonna be able to make any of the official events. Sadface. Financial issues pretty much have all my money spent before I even get it (don't ever get laid off), but I'll be out at XDC so I hope to see some of ya'll out there, and I look forward to seeing you all Sunday night! If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please feel free to PM or email me at southlakesundaynights@gmail.com.

I am the event coordinator for the 2010 TXP ...... just to let you know..... you and Matt are welcome to enter the car show for free. The hotel parking lot party is free and I will have a cigar and drink for you. All the cruises are free. At this party it doesn't take money to have a good time.
