Man all you youngsters should thrive on 3 hours of sleep...when I was your age I was lucky to get 1 -2 hours of sleep....and it was mostly in a 30 -40 minute set.....and in a snow storm....walking up hill....both ways !

But really....Pat, please just be sure your ok to drive and have a good time.

Had a good time today guys. Chris you are right there, if Gavin had any tires left it could would have been really tight. If Damon and Adam get some tires its going to get close.

Had my gopro set wrong, it was on photo mode so now I have 600 photos of me on course. Oh well next time.

I think this is my best run....but since I spunout and did a 360º I'm not sure. I had Jody's ex with me and I still ran my fastest run of 50.8??

Over all, everybody had a great day....Adam and his new ride to break in and now he will be ready for the next one with new tires....maybe ????
Also the guy from houston with the 370Z was very cool and I enjoyed his company.

WTF?!?!?! MY TIME IS WRONG!! My last time 51.9 somrthing, and they didnt have the print out! I KNEW SOMETHING WENT WRONG when they said it didnt print out!! What the hell?!?!? They said if it showed up on the screen it would be on there!

ugh i'm pissed.

 

I busted out the AX laptop and looked at the raw timing log. Yep, your last run was 51.904. However, it was also your ninth run, which is why the timing software did not print a slip or print in the results -- it did not count.

The bad news is that it would have put you first in your class, but the good news is that you got one more run than everyone else. And the bad news isn't all that bad when you consider that you won the class, anyway.

So, it all worked out in the end. Hooray!

 

yeah i apologize about that 5th run. the rerun the silver 370z got screwed me up as i was following him... hahaha! i figured that's what happened.

Thanks for pulling it out for me though, i knew i wasnt going crazy!

What was the 370 guys name? Wasn't Cody was it?

 

No his name was David Link. He was in town from Houston and decided to run an event while his girl friend was busy at a conference

 

Cody didn't have a 370Z....he had a PPW 350Z with his RS-3's. He schooled us with those while we were all on crappy street rated 360 treadwear rating tires.

It would be cool if he came up for another AutoX to see if he would still beat all of us now with equal tire set up.
