DFW 2012 VQ Auto-X Challenge
Mods are:
Suspension:

Factory A-arms with offset bushings
Hotchkis front bar (full stiff)
SPL Endlinks
No rear sway
Alignment...info to come
Engine:
Pop Charger w/80mm velocity stack
Samco Intake tube
Z1auto 3" MAF
MD 5/16" Spacer
UR Crank Pulley
Z1 2.5" Test Pipes
TurboXS Y-Pipe & Exhaust (only weighs about 19lbs...too my surprise)
Tomei V2 Headers
Tuned Osiris/Uprev by Hills Garage
Will be converted to E85 once we get summer blend in MD (June)
Drivetrain:
Cusco RS at 80% lock
OS Giken Super Single w/Aluminum Pressure Plate (Pretty light....~25lbs for the whole assembly with flywheel)
Brakes: Too my understanding, what I have on my car is legal per 15.6 of the 2012 SP rules:
Stoptech 332mm front BBK (2 piece rotors) and stock rear non brembos
Stoptech lines
Stoptech pads
Wheels/Tires:
ARP Studs
18x10.5 +15 RPF1's
315/30 Hoosier A6's (hoping to have 315's for Dixie...if not I have a set of sticker 285's)
Will be upgrading at some point in the year to 18x11.5's or 18x12's.
Aero:
Work in progress, but won't be on for Dixie.
I'm hoping to go to an 11.5" or 12" wheel on all (4) by the D.C. pro the second week of April.

^^^Dang..love that clutch/fly setup.. No rear sway tripped me out..
wow..thats awesome! some of that stuff I wouldnt have even thought!
No AC or radio
Aluminum kirkey in the passenger side and recaro for my seat
Light exhaust
no cats
headers
2 piece rotors in the front
9(?)lb battery
No rear sway bar or hardware
OSG Aluminum single clutch (~25lbs for all the components including flywheel)
All the spare, tools, etc are out of the rear hatch
I run the car with almost no gas in it either
That's about it...still has all the carpet, sound matting, and plastics.

Those are some wide-*** wheels!
Why no rear sway? And what are you using to tune for the E85?

Uprev for E85...we don't get summer blend here in the north until June (winter blend is more like E70)
No rear sway is all about being able to get out the corner more efficiently. It can be a little pushy in some elements, but if you match the spring rates correctly it is still faster than with a rear bar (most of the time). I bring 2 front sway bars and 2 rear bars to each event.

Ya I'll definately be at the 24th. Unfortunately can't make it to the TT which sucks cuz I had a blast the last time I went to one. I'm working in getting a set of 18's for those rs3's I'm getting from Chris. Hey I have a friend that needs some good tires in 245-18 if you want to sell the extras that you have.
Looks like I'll miss you. I am going to keep the tires and run them at the DE if I can make it that weekend. Thanks for checking.
