Dallas Autorama - Feb 17-19th, 2012
Real quick since this is my first post, I want to introduce myself as I am going to try to keep you guys aware of our larger events going on in the area.
I have a 1984 300ZX so I haven't been frequenting these boards but as a representative of the Z Club of Texas I want to share with you when we have events going on. I am one of the administrators of our club's forum and in charge of advertising, marketing, guest speakers and new membership for the club. We maintain a calendar of events at http://zcluboftexas.org/zcotforum/in...ction=calendar but our main events such as Autorama, Dallas Car Show, Courtesy Nissan Car Show and Texas State Fair Classic Car Corral I will be posting those on the regional event forums of sites such as this.
On to the real stuff now.
Z Club of Texas will be continuing our tradition of showing at the Dallas Autorama this year.
It is Feb 17-19th at the Dallas Market Hall.
O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama : Dallas, TX, Feb 17 - 19 - Custom Car Show
We have won the Best Club Display award most of the years we have attended and retook the title last year. We hope to repeat again this year. The Mustang club is our primary competition for the award taking it from us in 2010.
Several of our show prepped cars will be on display.
If you will be at the show please make sure to come by our display to see our cars and to tell us about yours too.

I'll be there Friday night working the booth and there will be club members at the display throughout the weekend, hope to see you there.

LayDZee, good to hear, hope you enjoy the show and our display.
ZSpectrum, sorry to hear that, hopefully you can get a chance to have some new memories of the Z Club of Texas replace that one. I can't think of anyone in our active membership that would intentionally act that way. Members come and go and sometimes people overstep and make personal statements for an organization that aren't actually in line with its views. Nature of dealing with groups of people unfortunately.
The 350Z brought back to life my favorite vehicle and I personally think helped save Nissan so I am extremely grateful for it and the 350Z communities that make it what it is. A large portion of our membership are 350Z owners, in fact all of our current board are 350Z owners except one is a 370Z/Z32 owner. 2-3 of our 6 cars at Autorama I believe are going to be 350Zs and at any of our events the 350Z is typically the majority.
