The BMWCCA chapter has announced that it will have an event this next year at "COTA" .....it will be $599 for the 2 day HPDE.

Anybody want to do that ? I think I'm, gonna do it !

Welcome,

First, I would like to thank you for being involved in your local BMWCCA chapter, whether it be Houston, Lone Star or Tejas. Because of your participation, you are receiving this special advanced notice. Welcome to the TEXAS TRIFECTA, at Circuit of the Americas, on June 7,8,9 in Austin, Texas. Registration will open on January 7, 2013. Registration is on MOTORSPORTREG.COM and will open at 6:00 pm. Fees are as follows:

HPDE: $599 for two days

Autocross: $55 for one day

Car show: $35(judged) $25(non-judged)



Registration is very limited. Each run group is small with a limit of 40 entries: Novice, Intermediate, and Advance groups with a total of 120. Novice students MUST have run in at the very least one previous HPDE events. This is an extremely technical track with 20 corners to memorize, it is easy for a novice student to loose where they are at on the track. Each entry will be approved by the chief driving instructor. Students will be approved for each run group and moved if necessary. Each entry MUST be a BMWCCA member in good standing at registration and at the time of the event. This is tier ONE of registration, with two more to follow. You have until January 13 to register before tier TWO opens.

Ok my above needs to be retracted.....i guess I was wrong to repost this email I received. It is NOT an open invitation for everybody to be able to drive and sign up in.

It is only for members and with selected invitation only ! So if you are not a member of the BMW chapter and did not receive an email for the Trifecta Driving event at COTA, then you will not be able to attend.
