actually gettting a little brighter up here, i am maybe 10 min from BD. i will be there about 245 ish

Looks like it's all moving NNE so the stuff I went through passed us. I hate driving in rain and hydroplaning. Anyways, I'm about to leave, so about 30 mins away.

 

Sorry I had to take off, but it was great putting some faces to names. I will defiantly hang around for the next meet.

Yeah, it was definitely cool that it started in the DFW! Hopefully it eventually makes its way back here.

Had a good time today. Thanks for putting it together, Travis -- and thanks to those who braved the weather and came out! Hope everyone made it home safely. I got soaked running to my car.

 

Great meet as always, even with the rain. Hopefully next one will be at K1 and I'll still be here for that.

I went to check on the bike trail I help with on the way home. It's basically in a flood plain and surrounded by creeks. We had an issue with some of the storm sewer drains getting backed up and the city recently cleaned them out so I wanted to see how they looked. Unfortunately I was in shorts so even wearing rain boots my feet got wet from the rain.

 

Looked like you had fun leaving the lot, Stu.

I'm down for a K1 meet. It's cool that new people show up to each meet. Some don't come back though.

 

I thought for sure I'd be able to slide out with all the water, did not happen. Then I got to the road and saw how much it had pooled and just tried to keep from flooding things too much. I remember the Tahoe fog light blew up once from water splashing it in a flood.

 

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the RS-3s performed in the rain. Then again, I still have alot of tread on them.

 

It's always a good time hanging out with the local enthusiasts. Thanks for setting up another successful meet, Travis. Also, thanks everyone for putting up with the banner thing in the inclement weather.

 

Gotta admit, that action shot looks pretty cool.
