hope to see yall on e-Z-ster sunday for those of you who can make it...... in all honesty (since i dont have kids) i forgot about the holiday..... what i think i am going to start doing is the 2nd sunday of every month whatever day it falls on... ideas?

 

+1 I wouldn't have known unless I was reminded, either. It doesn't matter. Whoever sets up the meets determines the details.



For me, personally, if other events coincide with a race event, race event will almost always take precedence.

well since not all of us race, i dont keep track of it.... and usually there isnt anything going on on sunday.....if you cant make you cant make it not my problem

and the last time i checked i am the only one trying to get us together on a regular basis. if someone else wants to start arrainging them then by all means go right ahead.

 

No need to take offense. I was half joking. But when the majority of the "meet" group is made up of the guys who try to make as many races as possible then it should probably be taken into account.

 

i didnt take offense to it at all, but most events do happen on saturdays, that is why i chose sundays, even changed the times, would be willing to do even later.... like i said if anyone can make it then cool, if not i will still eat good and have nice scenery

 

I was just looking at the race schedule for the year and for some reason all of the clubs have schedule almost all of the autocrosses on Sundays.

Not sure why they did that. Seems like fewer people would make it to a race on a Sunday. Maybe we could move the meets to Saturday?

 

From what i understand, we can only use Dallas raceway on Sundays. Pca always had there autox on Sunday and time trials on Saturday.

 

i am completely fine with that, i was going off what all went on last year, and usually people are more apt to be busier on saturdays then sundays, but we will try the next one. i am out of town tonight through sunday morning so those of you who can can still make it there this sunday.... see ya there

Ya last year was mostly Saturdays and they had success I thought. Not sure why they're all changed this year. Either way, there should still be plenty of Sundays to have meets. There's a big dead season this summer for racing. I guess it's too hot for some peeps.
