Default Parting Out VQ and F/I parts

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I am parting out all of my VQ and F/I related parts. Most of you have seen my car at one time or another and if you want any of the parts shoot me a PM. I am not parting out the whole car.
I am putting up FS threads in the marketplace as the parts come off the car, but wanted to give the Mid-A first shot, plus you guys will know what the blue parts really look like.

I have had several spare donor motors along the way, so if you need some random motor part off a VQ35DE I probably have it in a box in my shed. Coils, valve covers, stock clutch, stock radiator, coolant pipes... whatever.

Reliable in terms of rod ejection, I'd say yea... but whenever you modify a car like that you shouldn't expect 'stock reliability' in terms of the whole package. Either way, good luck Cass and thanks for the meth kit!

I've heard of the rod issues, but I know a handful of LS2 vettes in that power range that have run their cars hard for years with no issues. Most of the failures seem to happen over 450ish whp....or so I've heard.

Chris, are you planning to build the motor a bit before install? Just curious.

PM me if you have two GOOD valve covers with GOOD spark plug seal covers. Mine need replacing as they are beginning to accumulate oil in the spark plug wells.

2003 G35 Coupe.

Thanks man!!!

No.

Step 1 - do the swap and make it run... drive it a season.

Step 2 - Make it pretty to look at like my F/I build

Step 3 - Add NA boltons to make some more power, maybe a NO2 shot.

Step 4 - If I like the setup, by the iron block 5.3 and punch it out to larger bore and build a whole separate block and trans for boost.

Besides... jtgli is the new beast in my parts... his car is stupid fast.
